Limited only by your imagination! I've taken the leg pieces and made roll-up wrench and screwdriver storage sleeves and then nailed the waist band, with pockets intact, to the edge of my work bench to hold nails, screws, pencil and tape measure. The sky's the limit!

Bunches! Here are 3 ideas:
Squares of denim can be used to make a rag quilt.
A pair of jeans can be turned into a skirt.

And strips of denim can be knitted to make a tote bag.

Have fun! :)

Can't keep up with the production ----hammocks for my rodents .you can buy them of course from the pet store but they chew through in a short time (days, weeks, months) they also get their hammocks really dirty so to replace I use the leg of old jeans just cut off so that you can still make shorts out of the top. Then I use wire to attach to the top of cage usually soft wire easier ! and they just appreciate the comfort . Initially I was using rope to tie them up but they chewed through that pretty fast.

Cut off the legs. Turn inside out.Sew the bottom closed and ad a drawstring. turn outside in. Makes a great small tote bag or in my case, a large tote bag.

Way back when, I had a "cabbie's cap" that was made of denim. It even had the little change pocket which was really handy for stashing my...smokes. Yeah, that's it, my smokes.

and also you can cut the jeans into squares and rectangles and sew them together for a quilt, you can add some bandana's or cotton prints here and there and after you've sewn all the pieces together, fray the edges.
