perhaps the married gay couple will lose countless the rights of being married, and develop into only companions (Civil union). yet I easily wish this does no longer happen in Holland. You were the first usa to legalize it, and that i wish you stay this kind. perhaps sometime i am going to come to Holland and stay my 'sinful' existence there, and be out to everyone. yet i do not imagine this can happen in Holland, I recommend we've countless Christianity happening right here, yet nevertheless the state of Massachusetts enables gay marriage. So i do not imagine regulations will regress, they'll progression.

nothing at all.. even if you take away the whole love issue, (which is still a very important aspect) legally it just makes sense to have the same legal confines of an "accepted" marraige. Rights such as one spouse being compensated if the other dies.. those are just basic and neccisary. People need to hurry up, get their heads out of their asses, and approve gay marraige. If they can't get their heads around the love issue, they should realize that legally, it just makes sense.

Nothing. In fact it makes sense, just think about it..no arguments about leaving the toilet seat up lol. I don't think there's anything wrong with same sex marriage. If two people are willing to make that huge comitment, they're obviously devoted to each other.

I see nothing wrong with it myself. I have a problem with our government trying to regulate a religious ceremony, however. What happened to separation of Church and State?

Nothing is wrong with it other then the fact that in the English Language marriage is defined as a union between one man and one woman. I think it is wrong for our legislature to change existing definitions in the English Language for our country. I feel this could become a very slippery slope as we move forward. To define in it terms such as a "Civil Union" would afford all the rights and benefits to a couple of the same sex as is afforded to a conventionally "married" man and wife. When our Legislature starts changing simple definitions in the dictionary then we are beginning to create our own unique language. Furthermore...The same argument should be visited for those people who are in other unconventional relationships. We as a species are not defined by convention. Just as those who wish to see gay and lesbian couples afforded the equal rights and benefits of marriage wouldn't it be only fair to include those individuals who are bisexual the opportunity to experience the same rights and benefits. This would do away with the Polygamy Laws which others (including gay and lesbians) find very distateful...But what are we seeking...Political corectness or morality modification?

They can adopt children to create their family. A family made of love and not just blood is a stronger family.

It would mean that we could all have rights and then the people who have been working so hard to keep that from us lose some of the power they think they have over us.

Nothing is wrong with it to me. In fact, what ever makes two people happy and doesn't harm others, then I see nothing wrong with it.

Nothing -- The Levitical laws against homosexual behavior are not valid today -- Jesus said nothing about homosexuality.
Calling homosexuality a sin is judging, and judging IS a sin.
