I noticed that there are some words which are different between my dialect "the Egyptian dialect " and the Emirati dialect . Like for example here , you guys call stationery as "kortasya" . We call it " adawat maktabya" . The word "Kortasya" has absloutely no meaning in the Egyptian dialect except for "cones" .
I know also you call bread " sammon" . We call it " 3esh" .
What else ?

:) there are huge differents in the dialect and in the words, almost nothing in common, for example: if an egyptian went to emirates he will hardly understand them but after short time he will find it easy, because it's all relatet to arabic but they speak in a diffrent way, also egyptian's "local" dialect or language not pure arabic it has some of french words and few english words but not the origenal words because it's changed a little in our language like " tableya" it means tha small "table" which the old egyptians used to eat on, also "coverta" it means the "cover" which they put on when they seleep "the blanket"..and so many many words..thats why you will find the egyptian dialect is different from many dialect not only emirati dialect
