A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out...
So have atleast a friend....

no - not for me - I have been a complete loner for the past 8 or 10 years and am perfectly happy - actually, I am happier now than I was before, when i had "friends" (term loosely used here)
No more stupid head games, phoniness, backstabbing, jealousy, etc. Its a wonderful thing - I think.
But I will admit, that if not for having family in my life (two sisters, parents) life might not seem so grand. I don't want to have to find out that for sure though...I thank God for family. You know that family will never treat you the way non-family/friends would.

Of course. However I do wish to state that more than one person would only be asking for trouble in the end. Additionally your best friend could be your most effective enemy.

YES.. why would you question such a thing... i think friends make such a difference in your life... if i didn't have friends and din't feel like i fit in anywhere in life then life for me would not be worth living!!!

I have a few friends who are very close to me.. But I believe A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself..

I don't know, but I think I would be lonely without many of my good friends I have known for years.

i can say, yes it is. remember that no man is an island. imagine yourself living in a world with no friends at all., no one to talk to, or to express yourself to.

i say 'yes' b'coz if you feel uncomfortable at times it is the freiends that mostly help you in your troubles. you share fun, excitement as well as your sorrows with them.
