i cant conect my ps2 to my pc

I wanted to know this exact same thing and when I found out I was rather bummed because of the price. What you would need is a Composite/S-Video to VGA Converter.
They run about $120+ so unless you're a serious gamer I'd just stick to the tv.

Composite/S-Video to VGA Converter. You connect that to back of the screen and then your off. I would reccomend a good computer screen for this. Also it sometimes takes quite long to set up so just watch out! My friend managed to get is Pc, Xbox 360, Xbox Live, Ps2 all connected to one screen so it is possible.
