LANGKAWI - prefer to have a laid back stay in not so budgeted resort or chalet in Pantai Cenang or Pantai Tengah...

1. anyone been to 'Sunset Beach Resort, Beach Garden Resort or The Lanai before? How's the room condition? is the ( pantai tengah & pantai cenang ) sea condition proper for swimming?

2. any good recommendation on cheap seafood or western restaurant in this area?

3. Is there any super luxury coach that travel from KL to Kuala Perlis ( Jetty point to Langkawi )? the name of the company? website if any? price range?

PENANG- i have no problem with this one but i just need to know some little details..

Sorry I can't help you on this one but I don't like your way of trying to get people to look at your question. I prefer to know what a question is about before I open it so I know if I can help the asker or not.

hi myra..
-- let me try to answer your question as simple & detail as possible..

1. If i were u..u can either choose Sunset Beach Resort or The Lanai..
Those two places is the best for lay back..

Pantai tengah & pantai chenang is ok for swimming.. but pantai tgh is quite deep compared to pantai chenang..
so it means that if u stay at sunset beach resort or The lanai.. u'll be facing a quite steep beach (sea water)..

i'm not sure about the beach garden resort.. but beach garden resort is more towards the airport which the beach is quite muddy..

2. u can try any of the hotels food.. all about the same.. the best western food i encounter is in Tanjong Rhu Resort

3.Yes, there is.. u have to go to Jln duta or Puduraya to survey this..

Parkroyal room is a bit small, if you are coming alone or with yr partner is OK. Food is expensive for a 5 star rate. But the pool is very nice.

errr..no offence myra but i thought you work in a travel agency and you should know all this. I usually stay at my relations house when i visit these places and eat what they cook, its much more cheaper for poor people like me.

maybe next time you ask your favorite seripengantin towkay to open shop at langkawi and penang
