i would like to share the situation im facing in life right now and it is all coz i chose a girl of my choice n she according to my mother and family has many flaws (which i don consider as flaws but a rough fate in life that girl went thru).she married once when she was 18 n the marriage lasted for a year coz her ex happened to b the exact opposite and used her jus for fun and then treated her real bad.it's been two years since i hav known her, she is in india and i am in kuwait.i opted to work for an uncle of mine in kuwait as i thought i could make a lil money soon n work out the divorce and marry her n settle down in life.mum found out about this girls past recently and now she jus won't let me marry her.im in my uncle's firm now and even my salary has been deducted to a very big extent n i don hav any freedom anymore, no friends n not even a cell phone.all orders from my mum to keep me away from this girl even though we r worlds apart.i want to get bak to her as soon as possible.

i am like a prisoner here and it is eating away my inner self and i am all alone as my mum jus does not talk to me n we often end up in fights when we speak on the phone.my mum is in dubai, i am in kuwait n the girl is in india waiting for me.we r working on the divorce and it will take another 6 months for it to come thru. now am i wrong to jus run to the girl i love n start my life with her? coz i know if i giv into my mum's punishments i will only end up hating my mum, but i love my mum, but she does not see it that way. im in love with this girl and she means a lot to me and i am sure i can make my life with her in my life. i don seem to b the person i was once, i am depressed and worried all the time, i find it hard to smile for long.i am scared of what im becoming.i need to get bak to my woman n i need to do it soon. am i wrong in thinking this way?? n to add to all this i happened to b indian, all bull about tradition n crap.i hate it,more worried bout the pride than the good.

I think that you should just go with your true feelings. I would like to think that your mother will love you unconditionally, even if you marry a girl that she wouldn't have chosen for you. Tell your mother that hopefully she raised you right and that this girl must not be so bad if you see something so special in her. Maybe your mother will give her a chance. If not, than you have to make yourself happy, because at the end of the day, it's about you and who will make you happy... not anyone else.

your mum must have been a tyrant or something in her past life no offence but i dont think that you need any one at all i mean you have a job and you definitely can find another one and after youfind this job you should ask this girl forst before you get married and who the hell is your uncle to interfere with this he's almost and outsider in this and if you say that he has reduced your salary i think you should put a case on him for interfereing with things that dont concern him and he might give the after all what i have done for you bullshit either get to your girl or make her come to you and get married good luck!

Well, if you want the girl, then leave your uncle's firm, get out on your own, and make it happen yourself. They can't stop you from seeing her. They can do what they are doing to try and stop you. As a man, you have the right to leave all that behind and be with who you want.

u have a right to pick your own mate, and not someone arranged for u. if u have no freedom now, change jobs, get away from family, don't let them control u. or u will be unhappy your whole life.
