I've never been the most amazing singer but did do choir when I was much younger. I haven't sung in years and have lost even the "alrightness" of my singing voice. Realistically, is it possible for me to work on it with a professional to beautify my voice? Can someone who doesn't have a good voice practice with a professional to have an amazing one? I really do hope so. Honest answers please. Appreciate it. x

Good news!! Yes you can, voice actually is like a muscle... the more you work, the more it gets beautiful, and strong, and your style tends to ameliorate also... If you do have the chance of practicing with a professional, go ahead, this it the best way to learn... Good luck...

If you have a naturally designed voice, then you can be a good singer, but if the archicture of you voice box is not good then, it very difficult.

Depends on how you are trying to use it, in what context. I could never do pop or classic music... but I could do funky jazzy quirky stuff... I experiment with my voice to get what I want... of course, maybe that's not what you had in mind.
