A Bunny Boiler is a word used to describe an obsessive and dangerous individual, most commonly referring to as a jilted lover who is stalking the person who has spurned her or him. The phrase comes from a well known scene in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction where a woman seeking revenge on her ex-lover boils his daughter's pet rabbit in a pot.

A Bunny Boiler is a pejorative term for an obsessive and dangerous individual, most commonly referring to a jilted lover who is stalking the person who has spurned her or him.

The phrase derives from a famous scene in the 1987 film Fatal Attraction where a scorned woman (played by Glenn Close), seeking revenge on her ex-lover (played by Michael Douglas), boils his daughter's pet rabbit in a pot.

Its a term that man tend to use on women that are a bit obsessive and needy and want to be with you all the time. They won't let you be with your mates or anything. Its all because of the film Fatal Attraction, when after a one night stand Glen Close become hooked on Micheal Douglas and in one scene she actually killed his daughter rabbit, by boiling it
