Your lack of a period may be due to dieting, or that your weight is too low. If your bmi is too low, that's a bad sign (I'm not sure what the low level is for a teenager, but check the website below). Or, it could be that you're just irregular, or it could be that you're pregnant (you can get pregnant without penetration, like if a guy has an orgasm just outside of you, but it is rare). Were you irregular before you started dieting?

When you say "dieting heavily" do you mean losing more than two pounds a week? Or are you underweight now? Then that could be the cause. It's actually dangerous to do that, as you could hurt your future fertility.

You probably need to see a doctor. But definitely check out this website first.

Depends how much you are dieting, how much you are eating an how much you weigh. Stress can effect your period. Depending on when you first got your period, it could be just your cycle working out. Mine was unpredictable in the first three or so years. If you are worried go see a doctor.

It sounds like your body is going, or is in starvation mode. Like anorexics, you won't get your period because you are losing a lot of weight and your weight is not stable or high enough for the body to go through its cycle.

Well, it's not normal, but if I were you, I would be happy. Basically, it went away cause you weren't eating enough. But who cares? As long as you look good, that's all that matters.

You might have lost too much weight. What are you losing weight for at your age? Unless you are doing so under doctor's orders and under his/her supervision, you shouldn't be doing that as it could be dangerous.
