How about David Gregory? he's calmer than Chris Matthews yet asks the difficult questions, like Tim Russert did. also, the President for sure dislikes Gregory, it truly is a plus. i don't understand everybody, except per chance Tom Brokaw, who ought to come on the fringe of having Tim's target marketplace for Meet the click. Mr. Russert grow to be purely too unique to substitute with an equivalent!

No way!! Tim Russert is an exceptional journalist. He asks the tough questions & he's persistent following up when the interviewee is evasive.

I make it my business to see or tape Meet the Press every week, & I'll often watch it a second time to see if I missed anything!!

No...Tim Russert is probably the most trusted TV Journalist we have. I can only think of two. The other being Anderson Cooper, CNN.

No Murphy it does not. I remember sometime ago when I was helping to present a case in court where the litigant's attorney and our defense went after one another like cats and dogs but once the court was adjourned the opposing attorneys became long lost friends. They ate together and drank from the same bottle of wine. Scooter and Tim are probably instant messaging for dinner tomorrow.
