I am onto episode 4 and I'm getting a bit confused.

Why is there no radiation after the black rain?

Why did stanly not get ill from being in the rain?

How come nobody seems particularly bothered that their county is in ruins?

These are just a few things I'm puzzled about. It it just a bad srory line or is it part of some strange sub plot. I like Jericho but these things are bugging me.

There are a lot of things that bug me about Jericho, but I can't help but watch. Apparently the radiation was blown in another direction and isn't effecting Jericho... yet.
When you're worried about your own family and community its hard to be concerned with the rest of the world. Its a catastrophic event, and taking it all in at once would be very painful. Keeping it all closer to home is more managable... and a lesser budget for the cost of making the show.

I just got into Jericho. I saw an advert for it on TV and it said "the premiere" so I thought that it was the start of the show. Unfortunately, it was the 3rd episode, so I never saw the first 2. I just saw the 4th last night. It is confusing but I think I understand. They are at war but they don't know who against. I think there is something else happening with the black guy (I forgot his name). He has that wierd computer thing going on. By the way, did you watch it on Hallmark (the UK version) "Essential Fridays"?
