Amazon.com for one. It also depends on the books you want, or need. If it is educational I have a list of websites that supply parents that homeschool their children.

Yes, there is one online local bookshop selling Brand New books at 30% - 50% cheaper than most retail bookshops. I guess the address is www.bookcentrals.com. I have bought a book there and it is nicely wrapped up too. Can give it a try.

Go to www.Valorebooks.com and type in cheap5 to save an additional 5% on your order. It has international copies which are identical to US copies for more then half the price. It also has other textbooks along with everyday books for really cheap prices. Lower than amazon and ebay and such.

I've found the best online deals for new books at Buy.com, particularly if you buy enough books to get free shipping ($25, same as Barnes & Noble and Amazon).

Yeah, there are -- Alibris comes to mind. But I feel like a traitor here, as local bookstores are the life of a community. But anyhow most of them have already been destroyed by Borders and the rest.

PLEASE: Contact Powell's Books in Portland Oregon. They are on line ... you can google them. They are THE BEST! If they don't have it they will find it. If they can't find it, it probably doesn't exist. And, you can by different conditions. Excellent, used, worn, .... depending on your financial ability.

Please give them a try. I use them for all books I need. I never go to a brick and mortar store any longer.
