Hello Meeno, your silly question sounds just like something my Sister would say!! Of course Woodgate is good enough, i think he'll be a sub though. As for Becks, hes well past it. He only thinks of money now. Can i have 10 points for being honest?

Woodgate is good enough as a sub but not starting line up The reason Beckham is not in england squad is that he has hardly played a competative match all season you can not add him to squad just because he is beckham i would rather lenon or pennant any day to becks. Becks was a class player at man utd but seems to have lost his passion since he went to real madrid and he will b worse now he has signed 4 la galaxy the fame and money has gone to his head but woodgate is still a strong player and if he can stay injury free he will be a class act

Jonathan Woodgate is a very good player when he's fit. If he can stay fit for an extended period then yes he is certainly good enough for the England side. Oh and he's a more accomplished player than Beckham ever was.

At the moment I am not really sure about Jonathan Woodgate, becasue of his continous injuries he has not see to be consistent. England's back four are already strong. He may appear in Euro 2008 but his future in the squad is very dim.

you've got to think about all the other(good)english centre backs in this country. is jonathon woodgate better than any of them??
in my eyes he is probably about 5th down the line of defenders(central)
