That's nothing to do with culture. Just a political stunt. No need to worry about that.

If she has come thus far it's because she is welcomed by all into the folds of the family or she could'nt have reached the heights she scaled for herself and her party alone.
Also she was readily accepted by Mrs Indira Gandhi as one of her own without a fuss.
Also Hindus live everywhere, right from east to the west and from north to the south.

Ours is a culture which accepts everybody may he/she be from any part of the world, follow any religion. The greatness of our culture, society and humanity knows no bound. Therefore there is no reason why a person who has been accepted in a family, accepted as a citizen of India should not enjoy the bliss of being an Indian. It is the skewed vision of persons who negate this truth.

i dont think Indian political party's involves in any ones personal life,we Hindus honour and welcome everybody to our country and to our houses,if any member marries a woman, even though ,he does in his own free will, other family members welcomes both and make them part of the family,so other thoughts are irrelevant, many examples can be seen throughout India, now a days many people from outside India mainly u.s,British, dutch, and many comes to India for marriage(not Indians),so from that remark one must know how high Hindu values marriages and its sacredness.
