I do not think so.
A brilliant strategist would be a person whose strategy succeeds. I believe that Iraq was poorly though out and not resolved prior to taking action. He should have paid more attention to Sun Tzu Win the war before fighting the war.

In all honesty, we still have to see how this turns out. If we end up being over there for the next ten years without getting anything done besides killing saddam, then he will be looked down upon. If something good comes out of this, he might very much possibly be put at the same level at JFK and Lincoln. But we'll see...

I don't know about him, but the people that put him up to it certainly are. They are close to Hegemony in the Persian Gulf, and still have us debating the "surge" and Bush's IQ. What a waste of talent to use it for all this death and destruction.

I doubt that Dubya's wife even considers him a brilliant anything. Anything he does that happens to come out right was probably done by his aides.

I am not sure. I would have to see what he is trying to accomplish, and who has been helping him.

I've noted at times that he cannot be as dumb as he looks. This is a physical impossibility.
