some are chemical concoctions, rather than the herbal extractions that they claim.
Also, even if it is herbal, you could be plain allergic to it.
Some incense gives me a headache too, but not others.
i've been told that cheap ones are more likely to cause this

Im not an incense burner, but dont mind some of it. Ive never gotten a headache from it.

you are sensitive to scents. I am too any kind of scent gives me a headache from candle to cheap perfumes to incense.

It is allergies. I have the same problem. It is strange that candles do not have the same affect isn't it?
