Since yesterday i havent been able to get onto myspace on my computer.i dont know why.at first i thought it was something to do with my space but i still cant get on and i have asked a few friends and it was working ok for them.basically the site wont open up for me at all.i type in www.myspace.com and all that happens is it says this page cannot be displayed or else cannot find server.i tried this morning logging into another account on my computer and the myspace page opened up but wouldnt let me sign in.when i tried the same thing happened.can anyone tell me what going on and how to fix it.thanks everyone

Its the only site i cant get into.every other site is working fine.and also my friends were getting into it fine when i couldnt so i dont think it being down was the problem.i have restarted aswell.no good.its going on since yesterday

One other thing aswell is that if i go to yahoo and type in myspace and pick the myspace music link i can get into that and can even then browse but i cant get to the home page.are ye all having that problem aswell???

well the website seems to be working fine.. it could be that you have some kinda virus or your parents dont want you to sniff around at myspace :p

It could be your internet connection? Do any other sites work for you? Or your computer could simply need to be rebooted. I've have a previous problem, which was kind of the 'reverse' problem that you're having, I guess you could say. Instead of Myspace not opening, it was the ONLY internet page that could be displayed. And so I had to ask a friend from Best Buy's Geek Squad to reboot it (because he suggested it)... completely restart my computer, erasing everything on it. Basically starting all over...but backing up all the files first on an external hard drive, of course.

I DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER - BUT SHARE THE SAME ISSUE--I too m hving the same problem and hve the same story as you ...thinking something was wrong on myspace end ... The only thing i did different to my computer is update to the NEW AT&T yahoo email/page thing and within days this happened. I spent 111 mins. on the phone with AT&T yahoo ech support -- they could even help-- i am lost too and PO'ed! I even was ble at one point able to view the myspace home pg and log in -- but then it went to that damn default page with the "i" icon stating connection and so on... I then was able to get on to "contact myspace" and write them a quick question ...

dont worry it`s happening to everybody and i have no idea when it`s gonna be back up.. but u can go to http://www.unfilterme.com and go to the box at the bottom and type in myspace.com and it will take you to the login page so u can log in. the bad thing is u cant leave comments or reply to messages but u can still check all your new stuff. there are also other sites like http://www.bypasslive.com :: http://www.buzzysplat.com :: http://www.freenfun.com ((there just sites a student would use to get into myspace at school)) good luck they work for me but i would recommend either http://www.unfilterme.com or http://www.bypasslive.com they work the best =]
OR --
you cn try opening INTERNET EXPLORER and click the tools menu the click on INTERNET OPTIONS then click the button that says DELETE COOKIES.. then try going to the myspace homepage.. it worked for me good luck

i have no cluse i just got on my account just fine no errors or anything, only thing i can think of is your popup blocker is on and blocking the site or your missing the myspace cookie or ur browser isnt allowing cookies.

lol just read the comments below shhes i get on just fine...lol you all have bad connections its 5am here in florida i get on myspace everytime easily.
dont wanna sound like any more of an **** but i tried that and still have no problem getting to home page just might be the connection in where you live.

This is happening to me too. Its like myspace is blocking my computers I use. My home computer and my work computer will not access the home page. But I went over my friends house and got on her computer and it let me on. I think myspace is blocking our computers that we work from for some reason.

Omg....the same thing is happening to me right now...like if i put in myspace.com/girl05...or something like that the page willl load but i cant access the home page. all i keep getting is the internet explorer page...idont know the heck is goin on, but i know im frustrated tho...let me know if things change for u

omg me too and its been happening for 2 days now all it says the webpage cannot be displayed and everytime it comes up like that it always gets annoying,my friends say its working for them but i dunno why its not working for some of us and it keeps on saying the same thing,oh well lets just wait and see if it works tomorrow if not then screw myspace =[
