The question as to when is best to concieve has pretty much been answered already, but since it's the man not the woman who's responsible for the sex of the baby there's no appropriate time for that. A man releases thousands of sperm each time he ejaculates. The average male realeses 50% sperm that would make males and 50% females, based on whether they have an X or Y chromosone. Some men may release more males or more females (hence why some couples have all boys or all girls) but the only deciding factor in whether you have a baby boy or a baby girl is which single sperm out of thousands swims fastest and gets to your egg first.

Without medical interference, there's absolutely no way to be sure you're having a boy or a girl prior to conception.

About conceiving a particular sex - female sperm are larger and stronger swimmers than male sperm so are more likely to succeed in fertilisation during the period that the female is becoming fertile. If you want a boy - you might be wisest to wait until the most fertile days of the cycle to assist the smaller weaker male sperm to swim the distance.

There are other factors governing male/female conception - and that is the sperm produced by the male. Some males produce more of one sex sperm than the other and even, only one sex. that would mean you would only conceive that sex child. Most people just take pot luck, however.

You could consult Chinese medicine for assistance with a particular sex child. Chinese medicine claims particular foods enhance the likelihood of one sex or another - worth investigating if it is that important to you.

u generallly ovulate about 2 weeks after ur period~ have sex during this time, and u should be able to pick a winner... there is no sure way to choice the gender, but there is some books about different days and styles u can choice to get the gender u want!

I say be happy that u fall pregnant, and be happy with what ever gender bubs is!

14 days before your period is the average woman's most fertile time(On a 28 day cycle).Not all women though.As for the gender i have heard a theory that female sperm swim slower but live for longer and males swim faster but don't survive as long.So going off that if you want a boy do it on the day of ovulation-a girl the day before.But it's JUST a theory.Not scientific.

yeh.......... my doc. told me just before 10days from my delivery that i am going give birth to a baby girl.She told me by studing A CHINES CLEANDER.We can also celculate it is ez.Wt we need is our date of birth ,year and date when we concived. Ithink you should buy it u can get it from any cleander shop or you can ask your doc. if she have.
