My husband works nights and has started a new business in the daytime and maybe gets about 4 to 5 hrs of sleep a day. Since the new business we do not have sex he says he's to tired and I am very sick with a mass and hurt alot and he does not want to hurt me more. His plans is to get the new business to a point where it will support us with out a second job. He does not want other people to help in this new job just me and him and maybe one of our daughters. I babysit for extra money, run the office end of the job, with all this going on we have sex maybe 2 times a month and it is damn good and can last for hours, but do you think both of us being tired all the time will lead to cheating or even worse hating each other when the other is tired. We are both older between 40 to 60 yrs old, is there others out there who made it through this period with a good marraige still intact, we have always been happy together and our only hard times have been because of our children.

Sounds like you two have a rock solid marriage. You should be able to base your answer on your past. I know it seems like things are very hard right now, but it sounds like your husband has a plan. If he is able to execute it well, and I am sure he is smart enough to do so, you two will be back to your great selves. Good luck.

I would wait awhil until you feel better before thinking that not having sex will ruin the relationship. There'salways a time where for a period partners will not want to have sex with each other as they are too worried about matters going on in their lives.
You sound very happy in your marriage and i congratulate you both on being together so long.

I've started a business, and my girlfriend dumped me. She just upped and kicked me out of her life because I was trying to make a decent living for both of us. I didn't have time and I was always tired. She didn't lift a finger for me either, so I think it was good riddance.

The more you help him set up his business and make it successful faster, the more quickly you can get back to having lots of sex with him. Help him with his business and be a part of his dream to make it a success. I sure could have used help from my bi*tch girlfriend when I was trying to succeed.

How is it a bad thing if your husband's trying to do something to improve the family's lifestyle? So the sex isn't as frequent as it was when you first got married? So what? It's never gonna be that frequent all the time. Stop being so selfish and give the guy a break.

if youre too tired to have sex with each other why do you think he would have sex with someone else? if you know where he is and vice versa and trust and love each other you shouldnt worry about such a thing is 'going to happen'. If your relationship is good, why are you worrying over such a thing? one thing you can do for each other is pamper him one day that he is very tired and he can do this for you also. make time for each other. life is too short not to enjoy the good things. peace

You are doing good. If you are both tired what time would either of you have for an affair? Relax and enjoy and look forward to the time when you do do it. ok. Good luck o.k

it seems that you have got it going, this is just a phase you are passing through, hang in there and communicate your feelings more openly, it is nice to hear you are loved and missed. I am sure you will find your way
