As awful as this is, you can see this as a great opportunity for so many reasons. She's so young and now she has a second chance. Comfort her and tell her that you'll always be there for her and apologize if you feel you haven't been there enough for her in the past. It's very important to convince her of that because she's missing some leadership in her life. This is a new beginning with so many possibilities. Be there for her and take care of her so that she sees that she's a great person and doesn't need to be having sex at such an early age. I would find out who got her pregnant and if the punk is over 18 I would file a complaint with the police department, that's statutory rape. It sounds like your sister needs a lot of love and support, it's not normal for her to be falling into the arms and bed of a guy at this age. I'm very sorry your family is going through this. Talk to your parents about it too, all of you guys have to start playing a bigger part in this child's life.

Okay.....according to the questions that your "12" year old sister has posted, she is in her 7th month. That is a great deal more serious than a simple miscarriage, that is IF you are telling the truth. *IF* this is true then you need to get your "sister" to the hospital because going into labor in your 7th month IS a medical emergency! If she really IS pregnant she needs to be in the hosptial, not losing her baby at home with only her sister in attendence. What is wrong with you that you do not know how to dial 911? Even if you do not have a telephone there must be a neighbor or something, someway, for you to contact Emergency Services. If your little sister is really 7 months pregnant like she has been saying, she could die without proper medical treatment.
CALL 911 or find SOME WAY to get her to the hospital!
If this is another one of your pranks please find something else to do.

Sorry to say this but that was the best thing that could happen to her. She is only 12! She is not needing a baby when she is a baby herself. She is proably crying because of the pain. What and where are your all's parents? Why is a 12 year old even having sex? I would seek help outside of your family because that is just wrong a 12 year old pregnant. Did the hospital call social workers on your parents?

Get her some counselling and maybe later on (in a few weeks or so) someone should talk to her about her sexual behavior. When a girl that young gets pregnant, her body is not really developed enough to have safe, healthy, complication-free pregnancies and babies. A lot of time they have miscarriages and go into early labor and the babies are born with birth defects and other problems. And she should know that she will likely go through this again if she decides to continue having sex.

I think that you should give her support and let her know that she was extremely too young to have a child and that everything happens for a reason. Tell her to focus on school and if she is planning on getting pregnant again she should wait until she is a lot older. I am very sorry to hear that but I am also happy that she has an opportunity too start over and plan to have another child at the right age. Good Luck to your sis....

Give her love and support, and maybe take her to a counselor. She really shouldn't be having those problems at that young of an age. And where were your parents when she was out having sex? I'm not trying to be mean, but your parents or whoever takes care of her should keep a closer eye on her and her actions. She's too young and could get like raped or kidnapped if she is out late at night. But give her love and support.

The first thing you need to do, if it has not already been done, is to take her to a hospital and get her checked out. Her health is #1 priority. The next thing you need to do is get her someone that she can talk to and help her through this. Either through counciling, a trusted pastor, friend or parents.

The next thing you need to do is call law enforcement, because the father, if he is older than your sister, is needing to be charged with statutory rape. Your sister is a minor, and the father of this unfortunate child has some explaining to do, and time to serve.

For your sisters sake, please look into all these things. Prayers go out for her.

I cant believe I just read that. I'm not condemning her, but someone should have been paying attention to the fact that she was having sex at that age! Get that girl some counseling, shes gonna need it, a 12 year old isn't mentally advanced enough to deal with this kind of stuff.

She needs to see a dr as soon as possible - there could still be material inside of her that needs to be removed before it causing an infection.
Most girls who get preg this young miscarry thier bodies arent ready for pregnancy yet.
Tell her to get on some birth control she is not ready at 12 to be a mother!

If she is only 12 - then she has been the victim of criminal rape - have those issues been dealt with?

The other thing is, how pregnant was she? The best thingh would be to get medical attention - the Women's Hospital would be a very good place to start - to make sure everything is okay physically and to get counselling and emotional support.

It sounds as though you are there for her too.

Do take very good care of yourselves.
