Either a bird, or a fish.
Humans are bound to the ground. But birds and fish are in totally different elements. It would be cool to fly and to swim -- and to have the opportunity to see what it's like/what's in the sky and water.

A bird, a small and quite colourful one.
It represents liberty. Being man can be stifling sometimes with all these restrictions and laws.

A silver spotted panther because its spots cant be seen in the dark, only when it steps into the sun. Its way cool.
