I have been out of the scene for too long, but if you join swinglifestyle, you can look for area specific clubs and parties. We are south of you, so I only know the ones down here.
(I checked in the Events section and there seems to be several in Belmont and maybe a couple in Stockton. I was unable to check the Clubs in that area unfortunately.)

Well, if they are private they certainly won't be advertising them here on Yahoo! Answers. And if you are in the lifestyle you are already being invited to them.
I don't know if this is you case, but many people, especially single men and dissatisfied married men, think that the swing lifestyle is just one big 24/7 orgy and all they have to do is show-up with a penis and they'll get some from some guy's easy wife. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's everyday people that once in a while (and I emphasize "once in a while") include others in their sex life to live-out fantasies that require more than two people to do. In fact, most swingers only swing on the average of once a month.
It's also difficult for single males to break into the swinger lifestyle since it is a scenario of supply and demand. There are more single males trying to get with couples (as outlined above) then there are couples wanting single men.
My advice as an active swinger is to sign-up on a swinger's dating site like Swinglifestyle http://www.swinglifestyle.com , Swappernet http://www.swappernet.com , or Swingular http://www.swingular.com , get involved in the lifestyle, then you'll get invited to the private parties.
Good luck.
