A budget would have helped, but here goes: Omega, Cartier, Breitling, Movado, and TAG Heuer will do nicely.

It all depends on how much money you wish to spend and whether you wish to buy a mechanical (automatic or wind-up) or a quartz movement.
With that said some ultra high end brands are (same neighborhood as Rolex or higher):
-Breguet
-Blancpain
-Audemars Piguet
-Jaeger LeCoultre
-Vacheron Constantin
Omega is a good brand that is not as expenive as the ultras.
Longines, Rado, Movado, Tag Heuer are all good mid range brands with mechanical selections.

Bulova makes some nice ones. The Omega is kinda pricey. Seiko is always a nice.

It depends on his taste in watches. Does he like rugged stuff? I have a Casio G-Shock and that is as tough as you can get. Then you have classy watches like Bulova and Tag Huer. How much do you want to spend?

Buy something over $300 and make sure they look to your taste something fancy or slick, its really up to you, I would like to get anything that’s slick and all black they look beautiful.
