I was driving home, and ran over what appeared to be a human body that was in the middle of the road. My guess is that someone placed a dummy there, probably kids, to scare people into thinking they ran over someone.
Well, it certainly scared me! I drove back to find it was only a dummy, but it was horrifying?
What is wrong with the person who did this - I mean, how do they even think to do something like this?

Admittedly, it's something I had done as a kid. It's just immaturity. Kids don't know what it's like to be a driver and they have little empathy. They just like to watch people react.
Now if I were driving and I saw a dummy, I would find the kids and I would scare the bejesus out of them. I'd tell them my son was in the car, and had he been killed because of an accident caused by the prank they pulled... well... let me just say that I would not be calling 911 to report the accident.

Omg, thats horrific, i would have passed out , poor you i can understand your terror. The sad fact my love, is that there are so many scams nowadays, for all you know someone could have done this to try and get you to stop the car so as either to steal your car or do something far more sinister, at my work we are told all about these things, like the old fashioned baby at side of the road story, and they really do happen! Take my advice and go to the police, it may seem like a silly prank that is over now...but what if its not and some other poor soul has same scenario but end up with a different outcome!

you are right, just kids, playing pranks, and trying to be funny, they do not realize how serious an act like that could be. What if you were an elderly person? That person could have had a heart attack, just thinking that they had run over someone.

Somebody totally brainless!!Yeah,probably kids....Apart from horrifying it could be dangerous,as well....It could have caused somebody an accident trying to avoid running over it!!

oh! that happened to my mom once. she was driving up turnbull canyon and they actually threw the dummy at her car. she almost crashed!! its just some stupid kids playin around!!! they do it cause they have no friggin brains and obviously need to be slapped around a bit!!
