I remember this from my school days in the 80s, I never thought it looked good then. I'm now working in a class where lots of the boys have this done. Is this a fashion that has returned, or is it something that is popular amongst certain areas of the population? Do you think this looks cool or awful?

I think one of them feather earrings look really groovy, i remember this bloke down my local pub used to wear one like that and it just used to crack me up.

It just depends what the boy looks like. Some people do suit it. JUst a small stud, a old bf had it and he looked nice ( well most of the time =) I dont c a lot of people with it done now a days but you never know some of the worst things come back into fashion lol=[)

Back then it was unusual to see it, now it's common, I have one, had it done about 4 years ago now and im 37, cant say that it does or doesn't look cool, but I havn't got a problem with it, nor my family or my work colleagues.

I think it looks sexy. The fashion made some return last year, but it's not back in full 80s swing (sadly)

It's a 'fashion' and also in some instances a 'STATEMENT' if you dig? If it's in the left ear, he's just a guy who thinks it's cool, if it's only the right ear the saying goes, "Right IS Wrong' -- if you comprende' ?

Makes me laugh how can an earring make you look gay these comments are just plain silly, yeah ok if its a big diamond fancy one but a stud makes some men look a stud !

I think it looks awful. Two of my teachers wear them and they look ridiculous. My friend has the ones with big holes right through your ear. Yuk!

Its what we get used to seeing. the first time I saw a male with an earing was like seeing a woman lorry driver for the first time!! ( now common place)

Its been around since the early 70s.I think earrings look okay on a bloke.
