They have not been taught how to use common sense. I think parents are not teaching it to their kids. m

i think i'm just repeating this answer...
"common sense is not so common"
plus people do tend to rush in to actions not thinking about the possible consequence.
pressure sometimes contributes to the inability of people to use such common sense...
pressure sitorts our ability to actually think straight...

Common sense tend to relate to events within human experience, some people just have no experience.
For whatever reason they just can't seem to get their head out of their ***.
