Many years ago my best friend invited me to Diwali celebrations at her parents home. During the evening I asked if I could see her mother’s sari collection (am fascinated with them) and I was escorted into her bedroom and let there to peruse these garments.
My friend’s father entered the bedroom and started talking to me about the history of each piece, as some where inherited. I became slightly uncomfortable with him and asked to excuse myself. He blocked the doorway and pressed me against the wall and practically licked my entire face.
I dragged myself through the remainder of the evening and got home as soon as I could. I never accepted another invitation again and I can’t tell her why. She adores her father and this would hurt her terribly. So I would rather loose her friendship than hurt her family.
I miss her still.

missing some one is the hardest thing of all parts, yea, you knew that you missed them (totally missed them) but yet you don't want to keep in touch with them, it is simple, they don't want you to know that they love you.. missing someone means there is love, a big one, if you doesn't love someone, how come you missed them, am I right?? Basically, this will happen when they think it is ridiculous to love that person for some reasons... they just don't want the person to know, that they love you so much.. that's the reason.. I think.... but believe me, it is so suffering, you missed someone so much, but you didn't tell them... inside, the heart are throbbing with painful feelings... hoping that the person will stand in front of you, but it is impossible, because they can't....

Friendship takes work and most people don't realize this and take it to heart. It takes work to call someone, catch up, re-find things you have in common and to recreate the friendship. Most people think to themselves yea it would be nice if i talked to this or that person... but their saying that in the context that it was easy ... and it rarely is.

I have no idea why i do it. I tell myself I'll get around to it but i think that now its too late to call that person. I regret not doing so earlier.
