I agree it is normal to feel that way. But you shouldn't do it and you probably won't find a doctor that will do it anyway. The last month is always the longest, it will come soon enough but the baby needs every extra day they can get. Their lungs get stronger and they put on some extra weight.
I had to have my last child 2 weeks early by c-section and the doctor warned me that there could be complications with the lungs and then you would have to wait even longer to hold the baby and bring it home.

hi there. Im not sure how to answer this question. But i have had a c setion a year ago n its not all good..you cant walk properly for about 2 weeks. You cant walk at all until about 12 hours afta surgery. you cant drink, smoke, drive, do anything sexually,or lift anything over your newborns weight for six weeks due to risk of infection. it takes about half hour for the procedure but epidural is horrible, they stick a tube down ur back through ur spine and there a huge risk involved including becoming a paraplegic. I really hope you think this through if you are going to go ahead with it. It is definterly the easy way out though. I know othermums that have had c sections and had their other kids naturally n they all prefered naturally as they could do everything an hour afta birth. hope this helps and good luck with everything.

At this point, it's absolutely normal to feel like you just want to get it over with. But think about it. It means you might not be able to breastfeed, since they will have to give you some antibiotic for the c-section to heal. Also it means 2 more weeks to sleep long, no changing of diapers, and no baby crying in the middle of the night. Just use that time to rest and store up your energy for the main event. Best wishes :)

A very sick mama dog is an extremely stressful situation. And I understand your anger at some of the answers that you received. It is normal for you to want to vent back to these folks some of your anger and frustration. So, try to remain calm and keep your focus on your dog & pups. Don't let this cloud your true goal - a healthy dog. And yes, I would love to know this outcome. Kudos to you for your quick action in caring for 7 pups! It isn't easy! I wish that more people would realize that there are situations that stump even the best of vets. While the calicum issue is the most common with these symptoms, it is not the only cause. And your dedication to this dog and her pups is very, very admirable. So, you know that you are responding to this crisis in the best manner possible. You are doing all you can do in an extremely difficult situation. Let God sort out the rest. Peace

Yeah that is pretty selfish! That could harm your baby, It's obviously not ready to come out yet. C-sections are for people who are unable to give birth naturally. I had to have an emergency C-section and I was in pain for 6 weeks after it. I'ts not a very nice thing to have especially if you have the choice not to. Please wait, the baby could come at any time now.

I'm sure that you can't wait to have the baby, I'm only six weeks and look forward to it, but I'd suggest to wait it out. You will be so close so why noy let the baby come when it is ready! Also, I don't think that a doctor would do thid just because you "want" too, so be patient. it'll be worth the wait!

I was the same way and didn't want to be pregnant any longer. I wanted to get it over with asap. So I started walking everyday. And before I knew it I went into labor 2 weeks before my due date. The walking really helped. Good luck and Best wishes to you and your soon to be born. Don't worry your baby will be here before you know it. CONGRATS!

You've only got two more weeks to go, wait for the baby to be ready. That's what's best for the baby. It's not selfish of you to want your baby to be here, but your doctor won't let you have c-section just because you want one.

My sister told the doctors that she wanted to do a planned c-section and they scheduled it for about a week and a half before her due date. The baby came out fine and was perfectly healthy.
