I am into exports trade, can some one help me, how to calculate consumption of fabric, viz width of fabric is 48", I have to make bag whose size is 15*12*5", then what would be the fabric counsumption for that bag. What maths formula would you apply to calculate the figure. I shall be greatful for doing the needful.

what do u recommend by intake? in case you recommend how lots fabric you will might desire to make the pants then it is going to say on the development you're following. if it does not then inspect a development and it is going to say on the lower back. that's based upon what length you're making to boot. i'm hoping it is what you meant on your question.

If I were making a bag with those dimensions I would make it 5" wide x 15" long x 12" deep. This would require 1 panel 5" x 15 ", 2 panels 5" x 12", and 2 panels 12" x 15". Laying a 12x15 and a 12x5 together, you can get 8 side jpanels out of 20" of your 48" wide fabric. Laying the 5x15 side-by-side, you can cut 9 out of a 48" x 15" strip, with a 3"x 15" scrap. doing this twice will give you 18 bottom panels. Repeating the sidepanel operation 9 times will then give enough jpanels for 18 bags, and you will have used (2)15 + (9)(20) or 210" of 48" wide material.

Sorry about the lack of formulas, but this is more of a topological problem.:
