I'm thinking about getting a manufactured home because of the lower price, if you have one, how do you like it

I like mine ok, but there are several drawbacks to a manufactured home.

1. You have to have A1 credit before you can get a loan for a manufactured home.

2. Manufactured homes don't accrue equity, because they depreciate in value similar to a car.

3. It is hard to refinance a manufactured home, unless it is on your own property and it is placed on a permanent foundation.

4. The quality in workmanship and materials are not there, hence cheaper price.
