You sure can. Unless you have been told you are infertile (and that isn't even always right) you can get pregnant if you are sexually active. If you are worried buy a home pregnancy test. If you are trying to conceive and you have irregular periods you should try a home ovulation kit to help you identify when you ovulate.

I have had four periods in my entire life. I am 36 and getting pregnant took some work. I had to take meds to have my periods induced and then I took fertility drugs. First clomid (pills) that did not work so I took injections. My husband and I were very active sexually and had unprotected sex for over 5 years without a baby. But once I started the fertility treatment I was pregnant after 6 cycles, a cycle takes one month. That was baby number one. For number 2, I had to take the pills again and this time the pills worked. I am now 13 weeks pregnant with number 3 and i had to take pills again. The good thing for you is that at least you are having cycles each month. But just because you are having cycles does not mean you are ovulating. You can take a blood test to see if you are actually ovulating. Talk with your doctor and ask for the blood test. I wish you luck.

I think you could get pregnant, if you havn't had a period for that time and you havn't engaged in intercourse then I suggest going to the doctors to be checked out. Irregular periods I'm sure are common, i'm no expert, hey I'm a bloke for a start off, but 4 months...! best see your doctor hun...for your peace of mind.

you could get pregnant but with irregular periods trying to concieve will likely be harder and take longer. To try and regulate your periods lose weight if your over weight or gain weight if your under weight, eat a healthy diet, take exercise and try an alternative therapy medication such as agnus castus. If your really concerned then see your gp as you may well have a hormone imbalance or a condition such as pcos. Good luck

Yes i soppose its possible but out of a 100% chance id give you 10% chance on being pregnant as no period means no ovulation so no egg to fertilize.Heres a small amount of info on pcos it starts with months of no period.
I think you should see a docter check now for a pregnancy but id be more worried about your irregular periods theres a strong chance youll have trouble concieving in the future sounds to me as you may have pcos poly cystic ovary syndrome go to your gp its not normal a normal cycle comes every 28-45 days max this is the normal anything toher a docter would be concerned.
What is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?
PCOS is a health problem that can affect a woman’s menstrual cycle, fertility, hormones, insulin production, heart, blood vessels, and appearance. Women with PCOS have these characteristics:
high levels of male hormones, also called androgens
an irregular or no menstrual cycle
may or may not have many small cysts in their ovaries. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs.
PCOS is the most common hormonal reproductive problem in women of childbearing age
Why do women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) have trouble with their menstrual cycle?
The ovaries are two small organs, one on each side of a woman's uterus. A woman's ovaries have follicles, which are tiny sacs filled with liquid that hold the eggs. These sacs are also called cysts. Each month about 20 eggs start to mature, but usually only one becomes dominant. As the one egg grows, the follicle accumulates fluid in it. When that egg matures, the follicle breaks open to release the egg so it can travel through the fallopian tube for fertilization. When the single egg leaves the follicle, ovulation takes place.
In women with PCOS, the ovary doesn't make all of the hormones it needs for any of the eggs to fully mature. They may start to grow and accumulate fluid. But no one egg becomes large enough. Instead, some may remain as cysts. Since no egg matures or is released, ovulation does not occur and the hormone progesterone is not made. Without progesterone, a woman’s menstrual cycle is irregular or absent. Also, the cysts produce male hormones, which continue to prevent ovulation.
What are the symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?
These are some of the symptoms of PCOS:
infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding
infertility or inability to get pregnant because of not ovulating
increased growth of hair on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes
acne, oily skin, or dandruff
pelvic pain
weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist
type 2 diabetes
high cholesterol
high blood pressure
male-pattern baldness or thinning hair
patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs
skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area
sleep apnea―excessive snoring and breathing stops at times while asleep
