I think if you are asking a good question you shouldn't loose any points and if you ask really stupid ones you should loose a point for everyone that says it's stupid!!! up to 25

I think the point system is great. It's just the dumb stars and the loss of the thumbs up or down that is weird.

Well there have definatly been some really dumb questions and I believe those questions should cost something...due to their complete lack of sense.

Basic idea - you ask for something, you pay for it.
You provide something, you get paid.
As applies here - points are worthless.
