Neither! Love is right here with me. I'm married with 4 children and one on the way and have no need to look for anything else. :)

If you are asking a general question, I think we are all subconsciously chasing love as it sort of a primal urge, a natural instinct, if you will to find a life-long companion either of same or opposite sex. I think this is also why we are so judgemental about one another; we are constantly highering and lowering our bar of standards to which we make friends and, eventually, lovers.

But what is love? Wiki has the most all-around definition I prefer:

"Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification."

But here's where it gets personal and not so general. I myself believe that over time you can work on a relationship and grow to love a person more and more every day. But this is mostly because I think everyone is love-able. I mean, I have the ability to love everyone. (Or at least I try to). There are obvious qualities I look for in a friend and then, upon this mutual friendship, I like to establish a long relationship.

I never look for friendship or love personally however I am highly aware of my subconscious constantly judging all I meet upon my standards of friendship and also when it comes to guys, what I think would make a good father for my children.

In essence, I'd answer love is always chasing us and we are always chasing love because on a subconscious level we all have a primal desire to love and be loved.

I am not chasing anyone or anything. If it don't want to come to me without a fight, I ain't interested.

As for is it chasing me, well it must have given me a head start or its walking or it took a wrong turn. Cause it ain't caught me yet

I was on the chase, i guess it finally lost me the last turn i took. Perhaps i should put up sign posts or have people on the look out incase somebody sees love around.

I wouldn't know if love is chasing me, but I'm certainly not chasing it. If you chase something it becomes elusive.

Chasing me. It would be so much easier to mend my heart if I was left in peace.
