Why does the NFL Hall of Fame induct only 6 players?

Won't inducting more players make more sense and stop all the arguements about who and who shouldn't make the Hall of Fame?

They don't induct only 6. They induct between 4 and 6. Recently, the class has been full, with people still saying that this person or that person was left out yet again, ART MONK.

They had to pick a number, and a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 is what they go with.

if they inducted more people then it wouldn't be so special and it wouldn't be a very exclusive group.
