How did it make you feel?

We have seen this spectacle several times. We saw it in Canada on a night in August. The colors waved across the sky with unearthly light and color changes. It was totally mesmerizing. It gave me the same feeling of longing for something unknown that I get on that first beautiful day of spring.

Yes, when I went to Russia. I have seen this at night (7 to 9 pm)when I was sitting beside the river Ob. A streak of light streched across the sky out of nowhere(I can't remember the colour as I went there 5 years ago) It was an interesting sight. Yup, I live in northern Alberta (5 degrees south of the Arctic Circle) and see them very often (nearly every week). It's amazing the number of people here who have never bothered looking up ...sad really.
They are quite amazing when they fill the entire sky. I suppose they make me feel a bit lonely...but in a good way.

They are an amazing sight to behold, the feeling I got was that, I felt at peace, seeing something so beautiful makes it hard to think that anything bad could be happening.

that's the northern lights.. wow, no I've never seen them but im dying to.. I'td probably make me so happy and excited because they're so amazing.. it's natures beauty

On a highway to Wisconsin, at first I was freaked until I realized what it was, either way it was way cool!

yes the first time i saw one was when i was i think 8 years old it scared the s@$t out of me they told me it was an alien
