Depends on many factors such as:
1. What role models do these guys have growing up?
2. What type of friends do they hang around with?
3. What values do they have and perception on relationships?
4. Commitments are honor bound along with emotional attachments need to be there.
Now the hopeless romantic answer: If that person is truely in love , no other person can tempt or interfere with that commitment. Ever.

It's a choice. If you want the one you love to respect and be loyal to your union then you should do the same.
Men (or women) who do not honor the commitment they have made to another usually had no intention of respecting their relationship, their chosen partmer or themselves. They had no intention of honoring the relationship.
People who disrespect their commitment really weren't participating faithfully in a union with you. Those that do honor commitment honor themselves, their choice of a partner or the position they choose to link theirselves with are most likely unhappy and disappointed with the choices they have made for themselves.
The commitment is within you. The loyalty and respect you give the union is respecting yourself and the choice you made to share your life with someone else.
