Iam a single male 44yrs old wishing to move to Merseyside, but am finding no joy at present. There seems to be a lot of resentment to offering flats to people in receipt of Housing Benefit.
Does anyone know how i can find a landlord/agency prepared to offer me somewhere.
I can supply good references & possibly a deposit up front.Iam desperate to move here asap thank you!.

Red Rock Properties on Prescot Road have flats to let. and they take dss. i can't remember the number but the last time i had it i got it off google.
Also a company called Baillies Property Management on Derby Lane, but again i can't remember the number.
when i get home, i will edit this with said numbers.

Right:
Redrock Property Services.
Prescot Road, Liverpool. L13 3DA
(0151) 220 4802.

Bailie Proprty Management
60 DERBY LANE
OLD SWAN
LIVERPOOL

Unfortunately, i can't find the number to that one.

Red Rock is the best bet. I passed there the other day and they had a few flats advertised in the window display.

Dont know the small agencies or individual landlords, the Halifax and the Nationwide have lettings departments, go round to all the estate agents around where you want to live, most have letting depts as well as houses for sale.

Well, my old landlord accepted housing benefit tennants as most of the people in our flats were on it. I lived in New Brighton, Wirral.

They also accepted cats, i tried to persuade them to let me have a dog but they thought it wasnt fair on the other residents.
