Look in the herb book for a plant with the comon name of Pinapple Weed on those pages you should find the 2 or 3 kinds and the daisy like flowers that are not daisies. Leaves have Canomile leaves, and you'e probably pulled them for weeds for years I know I have. They grow along road sides, in school yards that still have grass on, and some areas where there are many varieties of white flowers just go and look for it. If you don't want to then buy a pkg. of seeds and make sure you mark where you planted it as Mom will come and do the weeding and they are gone again.

Park Seeds, Wayside Garden, burpee seeds (all dot coms) and many other places offer Chammomile seed for sale inexpensively. Very easily grown. Use the fully open flowers for tea. Very fragrant while growing and lovely to see. Lipton makes a bagged Chammomile tea called "Quietly Chammomile" green package - delicious, available in most grocery stores.

There are NO clinical studies that show that ANY herbal tea including Chamomile tea helps you fall asleep. It s more myth than based in fact. The people that claim it puts them to sleep or makes them sleepy are most likely feeling Placebo Effect. Try some OTC sleep aids or a shot of NyQuil will usually do the hob for me when I really have trouble sleeping.

Go to your local health food store and there you should be able to find them for tea. You'll most likely see the flowers in a big jar where they scoop them out and wiegh them for you. ( just so you'll know now, they will be loose in a bag to take home ) . ask the shop keeper if this is exactly what they are used for and ask if they are organically grown too. If you dont have a "tea ball" for steeping tea at home, ask this same shop keeper if they sell empty tea bags for exactly this purpose.

I grow my own german chamomile and harvest the tiny flowers. There is also a food coop in my area where one can buy herbs and natural foods in bulk form.
