What is the deal with this? The rest of a guy's wardrobe generally does not have the manufacturer's name emblazoned across it, and you certainly don't see women's underwear like that. The only brand I know of that doesn't do this is Hanro, and their goods are >$75 a pair.

There are actually many kinds that don't do this. But the reason they do this is to project their brand name and so you can show that you have something nice on. But Hanro is not the only brand that doesn't do this. H&M, Artificial Flavor, some 2(x)ist, Adam & Eve, and many others don't. Read this blog for some more: http://underwearblog.blogspot.com

Men are the ones who lower ride (ie: pants hang loose below the underwear to show off that they are wearing an underwear) Infamous example: Kevin Federline.

When rich stupids decide to show off their underpants. Underwear company use it as free publicity. They get photographed almost everyday and because celebrities wear them people are foolish enough to buy an underwear for $100

Hey so u know which way to put them on!
Don't fret alot of undies in womens do this, vickys, fruit of
the loon, etc. I guess cuz the new look of having them
hang out above your waist line.
