What if you have a friend who you find really, really interesting and fun to hang-out with, even charming then you found out that he or she was suicidal? He or she got hospitalized twice for indigestion (pills intake), would you still be friends with him or her?

There is no doubt in my mind that I would stay that person's friend even more so. I have had this situation in my life and that one friend has told me that she has one true friend and that is me.

of course u would, why shoudn't you, ??

you should be there in sopport if u have the time and energy to do so, especially more if he/she is what u said he/she is.

if they got a good personality, and even if they havent u should always be there for ure friends.

a suicidal person just feels trapped and or a lot of pain and grief and find that may be the only way out!

please, u will show ureself as a great character remaining in contact with this person, and it will make u happy being around this person as u said fun to hang with.

there is a case of become close as in heart and if this person looses its life u will feel hurt, but if takes to know this person better and get to understand why u might even be able to stop this action, woudnt that be great!!!

now go out and have fun with this poor soul, and all the time u spend will be great as u say, go on smile be the best friend u can be im sure he/she will appretiate it, and even solve his/her problems.

as i said be friends, talk get to know the person more, help him/her out, and most of all have fun and smile, cos im sure if u smile he/she wil smile back.

Good luck!!

Me and my family moved into our new house going on two years.
I found out one of my neighbors toddler grand daughter found some pills in her home, Took them and died before the ambulance got to the hospital.
I was kind of concerned about my daughter at her house. She went into a deep dpression and tried to take her own life. Was even hospitalized.
To make a long story short/ I got to know her. She became my best friend: and I hers. She has greatly improved in her emotional and mental state. I feel because I showed her unconditional love and acceptance. No judgements. That it aided in the healing process. I believe the good Lord put us all on this earth to help and comfort each other. To show compassion, empathy, and best of all love.

Yes. If a person is suicidal, then that usually means that they are depressed. They could use every single supportive person that they know to be there for them. Tell them that when they get down on themselves or their life to come talk to you before doing anything drastic. Make sure to let them know that they can trust you, and make it a point to be trusting!

dear friend, there is proverb saying, a friend in need is a friend indeed, of course, I would have kept on my friendship with her or him. first of all I should get very close to her or him and know what is bothering him or her and then try to help and make a good person and personality out of her or him and increase my social information by knowing the problem.

I don't see why not. I mean, if I found out they were suicidal, I'd probably stick with them even more because I'd want them to have someone they could turn to when they're feeling down and depressed.

Yes. That person needs a friend, someone to show him/her that life is worth living. Just by showing you compassion and understanding, should do that. Also it will help this person get through a dark period in his/her life.

Well, of course. What a silly question. How did you find out? Did this person tell you or did someone else tell you? If it makes you uncomfortable, find out more about it.

genuine friendships are very hard to come by, treasure them if and when they come into your life.
