Spray that mortein profesional spray (you buy at the supermarket) around your property and if you can find the ants nest and spray it there. That should get rid off them. Or call a professional exterminator. Just remember that ants come when it is about to rain because they are looking for higher ground and then after the rain they should go away.

Oh and if you are renting a place tell the realty and they should do it, you dont pay the landlord does. Good Luck

I don't know if either of these things are available outside the United States, but here's what I have found effective. Either an ant poison called "Terro" or slow-cooking grits. The Terro is the best ant poison. It comes in a little bottle or pre-filled containers that you just put on the ground or floor near their "path". It is sweet and syrupy looking. The ants take it back to nest and in just days they are all gone. The slow-cooking grits (not instant) are taken back to the nest and then swell from water and suffocate the ant-hill. This is very effective around pools and other concrete. Good Luck!

I'm in central Qld and we get those to. I put talc powder or kitchen flour at the entrance to my doors outside on the ground. They don't cross it. Or get the Mortein outdoor spray and spray it all around your house. That works to. They are looking for water.
