Be systematic. First consider a straight chain of 5 C atoms, and move the double bond - not forgetting cis and trans isomers. Then put 4 C atoms in a row, and move a methyl group around, as well as the double bond (not forgetting cis and trans, as before). Finally, make some ring molecules. You should find around 10 isomers at least.

With C4H10O, consider first the alcohols. Move the OH group, and then branch the chain and move the OH group again. There should be about 4 of those. Finally look at ethers - there should be about three of those.
