You lose your level priviledges so you can no longer post and answer as many questions as before. Look at what happened to AmusedOne. He can only post and answer a few questions now he has to wait 24 hours before he can come back again.

My understanding is if you get suspended enough times they will delete your Yahoo account, including e-mail.
