I have found beautiful beaches of WHITE sand in MAURITIUS. Moreover, the blue lagoon is safe as it is protected with coral reefs, almost all around the island.

Magans Bay in St. Thomas, Gallion Beach (7-mile beach) in Grand Cayman and Negril Beach in Jamaica....
Also enjoy the wonderful pink sand beach at Elbow Bay in Bermuda.

Grand beach in Winnipeg, manitoba is the best fresh water beach ever. As for ocean beaches I would say Cotteloe beach in Western Australia is pretty good and so is Surfers Paradise.

caladesi island in florida. it is a well kept secret. it is part of a state park and requires a ferry ride to get there. very private, secluded, loved it!
