i became very close with a guy when i was still in college. we started out as friends and we eventually found out that we had a lot of things/interests in common. soon enough, i found myself falling for him and i guess he was also falling for me too. but i guess we we both were scared to make the first move-- maybe, we didn't want to compromise our friendship. to cut a long story short, i never got around to telling him how i felt about him. i'm married now--for 9 happy years to another guy. we already have 3 kids. but still this "WHAT IF?" lingers in my mind. i believe i still have feelings due my unresolved issues with him. don't walk down the same path i took...

Yes I think you should tell him but when doing so try to make in a place to where you two can have time alone and ask him not to tell all your guys' others friends just in case it isn't the best or just an embarrassing situation overall. But from my very own experiences:If you want to be happy in life your company;your surroundings; and your inner-self all have to be satisfied and enjoying there-selves. I used to be the type to not let any one I liked or even suspected of loving to know my feeling or my thoughts due to the fear of me not being up to their standards and/or being laughed at or rejected in an embarrassing way, as it stood I am a tomboy and I don't have a very high self-esteem, also it is hard to do something like this anyways cause a friendship could change and/or be ruined! But in life we all have to make mistakes to learn and we must take chances cause how is one to know the true outcomes anyways, well your never know until you try. Heck you never know he /she may be feeling or thinking the same thing but just may not have what it may take to come forward and if no one comes forward you just may both be missing out on the best thing that be or will ever be what is meant to be or the best thing in your life: if he is your friend and a true friend understanding shouldn't be an issue

Have you ever heard the song "So Complicated" by Caroline Dawn Johnson, it's country, but perfect for your question. Your friend may very well have the same feelings for you. What can it hurt to tell him how you feel? You can still be friends even if he doesn't feel the same way. Or maybe he might start looking a little closer..............

Yes, if you really feel this way there is no reason not to say it. If he feels the same way then he'll let you know and you can be happy together.
