well, i think all religions are in balance with democracy, so is Islam. Only problem is some reactionist and brainless people that have no ability to understand democracy and Islam both. What a pity!

It balances itself very well, our country does not have a religion (unlikely of most other countries) only the people do, so it's between god and the person...that's the beauty of Turkey..And also we are fully democratic...
Yes, there are things needs to get better just like in any other country, but we don't harm no one(we don't interfere with other countries) we are not a thread to anyone so I don't think its any ones problem unless if you live there..Turks are very intelligent people who can sort their problems out by themselves...
