Theres still a lot of questions going on abt the origin of the universe. I think that the Big Bang was a result of the collission of high energy particles. Some say that there was an anhilliation of matter and antimatter. It is still hard to explain the Time zero in the Big Bang theory as singularity developts on all known laws of physics at that point.

There is a sort of "cosmic censorship" that has been placed on us. Now, a basic physical law is the conservation of matter . . . matter cannot be created or destroyed, only altered in state. But since time and space and matter as we know it started with the "Big Bang", we don't know anything beyond that. Actually, since time may have started then, there may have not been a "before that," but our minds find that hard to grasp.

If your nothing is a vacuum of nothing, energy can still exist with in it. With Eisenstein's theories (E=MC2) we can work out how much of that energy can turn into matter. There just needs to be enough.

This is what is contradicting the scientists. If big bang is the beginning of everything, then what triggered the bang?.This is called God in layman's language and in scientific language they are yet to find it.

impossible
this would violate the conservation of energy
there is nothing more sacred than that in physics
you cannot create or destroy energy
you can change its form though

Scientists claim you cant create something from nothing.
You can clone a person , you can recreate something. But you cant clone it unless theres already DNA there for example, thats something.

I'd say that there was energy before the beginning of the universe...so something came from that...! However it is only my theory contradictory to your statement.
