If you have Windows, find or search is built in to Windows Explorer and it will find by name or content
If you use Google, it has a desktop option that will find some files
If you go to the Start Menu, Programs, Accessories, Command Window you can type in DIR \FILENAME /S and the system will look through all the directories from the root (\) into all subdirectories (/S) by name. You can do first part of name with ABC*, the asterisk replacing the rest of the name.

Are you using Windows as operating system?
If your are, you may search your files using the built-in search engine of windows.
Just go to Start-up menu.
Click on "Search" then choose for "Files and Folders".

Try it now...

Use Search to find any files on PC. If you know the file name type it in if you only know what type it is i.e. jpg then type *.jpg and all jpg files on the drive/s will be shown
