The New Orville is computer generated, not a live actor. That's why he looks creepy.

Orville is long dead (he died in 1995); I think the new one looks positively creepy.

OMG!!! Those commercials are just WRONG! The poor guy is dead! I can see perhaps showing old commercials that he did when he was alive.....But creating NEW computer generated commercials of him is just creepy, gross, and wrong! I hope they get enough negative feedback on these commercials and end up pulling them.

they are trying to make it better by switching in the wrinkly old guy that looks like he is wearing a mask and putting in a young guy...but ys...its just freaky still...i dunno if they are boosting popcorn sales this way...i don't think so.
